We are excited to formally announce the NHS Northstar Employee Owner of the Year recipient, Ana Wisocki! Ana was presented with this award at our annual ESOP event on June 10, 2025, at the MN Discovery Center.

Ana has been with NHS since April of 2023 in the accounting department processing payroll and benefits for all employees at NHS.
Ana’s role at NHS largely supports employees and programs in all things payroll and benefit related. She truly embraces that role by providing excellent assistance and guidance to employees with their payroll and benefit questions and by supporting programs by making sure daily time is recorded accurately.
Ana is always looking for ways to make improvements. Having her in this support role helps the company be more efficient. She provides support to supervisors and staff, allowing them to focus more on our clients. Recently, Ana volunteered to be a member of our new hire retention committee. Ana is also alert to compliance matters, reducing risk to our agency.
Ana supports clients by assisting with their health care renewals. She is diligent in ensuring that the individuals we serve maintain their eligibility for MA benefits.
If assistance is needed to support a company or client event, Ana is one of the first to volunteer. She is willing to pitch in wherever support is needed.
Ana always puts in 100% and takes pride in making sure her job is done well. She takes difficult situations and uses them to learn more about her job and recommends changes that will truly improve the processes. Ana is always positive and is more than willing to go the extra mile to help out anyone.
Ana believes in our mission and our guiding principles. She consistently goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service not only to our external customers but to our employees and the people we support. The entire organization benefits from Ana being at NHS, which is why she has been chosen as our Employee Owner of the Year.
