There is one week left of our April Clothing Drive. We’ve had great participation so far and appreciate those who have donated! Please see original email below for more information.
In an effort to give back to the communities we live and work in, NHS Northstar is sponsoring a ‘gently used’ clothing drive for the month of April to benefit our local Salvation Army locations in Grand Rapids, Hibbing and Virginia. Springtime is typically when we all go through our winter clothing items and swap them out for spring and summer outfits (despite the impending winter storm coming this week)! If this describes you and you come across any ‘gently used’ items during April that you’d consider donating to this cause, feel free to drop off those items at the house you work at or offices in Grand Rapids or Chisholm.
PC’s and/or RSS’s, please print out the attached flyer and post in your homes. If you have empty cardboard boxes at the house, please secure one or more and place in the staff offices to collect any items that may come in (feel free to attach the flyer to the collection boxes as well). If you need a cardboard box (es), please email me directly and we’ll make sure to get one to your location. We’ll also have collection boxes at the offices in Grand Rapids and Chisholm. At the end of April, we will collect all items and distribute them to the Salvation Army locations in our community!
